Many of you will have already heard the news, but we wanted to share an update on how the $5,000 Coles Little Athletics Community Fund Grant is already making a difference at our Centre.
Thanks to the grant, we’ve been able to purchase our new PA system and tractor mower. The PA system is already in use at our Friday night events, making communication clearer and smoother.
The tractor mower, proudly supplied by our 2025/2026 GOLD Sponsor, Jakab Motors Cohuna, will soon be towing equipment around the oval once our Grounds & Equipment Manager completes some trailer modifications. This addition will help make set up and pack down easier for our volunteers, especially now that we’ll be able to tow the High Jump and Hurdles trolleys, which are incredibly heavy to move by hand.
We’re very grateful to Coles and Little Athletics Australia for their continued support of grassroots Centres just like ours, helping us create a safer, more efficient and more enjoyable environment for our athletes, families, and volunteers.
